Perfect Office Shoes

INF36The majority of women in the city head to the office every day, summer and winter. From flats to ultra high heels, women wear all types of shoes into the office. You might be on your feet all day or at a desk for hours. Some people think that office shoes have to be boring, but there are many stylish yet conservative options for the working environment. Don"t let your feet feel frumpy any longer! Check out this winter"s most stylish office shoes. Designers have been playing with shape, finish, and embellishment to make your feet fabulous while at work.

Three major design styles dominate the look of the court shoe. Court shoes, also called pumps or heels, are a staple of the office workplace. Round toe, highly polished patent leather provides a finish with a deep shine and goes with just about anything in your wardrobe. Some of these have a simple styling while others have an ankle strap and button, often of the same finish and material. Some adorable court shoes have buckle detailing or two ribbons that tie across the ankle in a bow instead of an ankle strap. Peep toes are also popular, though less so in winter than other seasons because of the cold. These high heels are made more comfortable for a work day in some office shoes by building up the front of the shoe to make the rake from heel to toe less drastic.

Leather court shoes with kitten heels and pointy toes are also a sexy alternative to boring office shoes. Leather can be shiny patent or a matte finish on the outside. However, the inside of these court shoes lets you take a walk on the wild side. Animal prints, snakeskin, bright colours and patterns are used as the lining of the inside of these black leather heels. Another finish that is trendy this winter is suede. Suede court shoes are usually embellished with bows, flowers, or buttons that are created from the same materials as the shoe.

Flats are also a great option in office shoes. They come in all of the top finishes that court shoes come in. Patent leather, matte leather, and suede flats can keep your feet comfortable and stylish at the same time. Flats today can be simple and elegant or adorable and embellished using pleats, buttons, buckles, bows, and flowers. Colours for this season are sensible and conservative. Black is the dominant basic, but plum, gray and navy are also good choices.
