Having been appointed Creative Director for Perry Ellis, John oversees the design and merchandising process of all apparel and accessories for the company and its licensees. John continues to advance and enhance the Perry Elis model of American sportswear.

Born and raised outside of New York City in Nutley, New Jersey, John spent most of his time in the city inspiring him to attend NYU to study fine arts. John graduated from NYU, Perry Ellis" alma mater in 1986, ironically the same year of Perry Ellis" death. Upon graduation, John sought a career in menswear. After learning the business as a buyer, merchandiser, product developer and design executive at several high profile companies, John joined Perry Ellis as Senior Vice President of Design and Merchandising in 2003 and eventually segued into the Creative Director position in 2005.
John lives between Fort Lauderdale and New York, and his interests include interior design, tennis, and his two dogs, Skye and Kosmo. A man of the city and of the beach, John draws everyday inspiration for a brand that encapsulates just that everyday, effortless life and style.
