Stephane Rolland was born in 1966 in Paris and spent his childhood in the South of France, he still loves this region , particularly rich in colors and expressive warmth.
After two years studying at l"Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, he starts working as a designer for BALENCIAGA. In 1991 he is only 25 years old, and feeling ready to branch out on his own, he creates his own firm. La Federation Francaise de la Couture gives him the opportunity to be included among the best designers, in 1995, he presents his first Autumn/Winter Collection at the Carrousel du Louvre. Six months later, his Ready to Wear line is sold in 80 shops worldwide.
